Dr. Schrader was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He received his bachelor’s degree at Yeshiva University and his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha the medical honor society. His internship and residency were completed at the Albert Einstein teaching hospital. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He focuses his practice exclusively to the fields of Gastroenterology and liver disease. He is a past president of the New Jersey Gastroenterologic Society. He is listed as a “Top Doctor” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine and as one of the outstanding doctors in the New York Metro area by Castle Connolly Guide.
